The 46 cm strop is used for stropping straight razors . Stropping is very important, as otherwise the razor becomes blunt over time and would require extensive re-sharpening . This strop is used with shaving paste to sharpen straight razors. The strop is made of genuine cowhide and can be attached using a hook. It is 46 cm long and 4.5 cm wide.
